On July 26, 2024, the Movement made a powerful statement: the burning of the M-26-7 flag. To the regime it is the symbol of its revolution; to free Cubans it represents six decades of slavery, repression, indoctrination and blood.
Burning it was an unambiguous declaration that this symbol does not represent the Cuban people — only the tyranny that oppresses them.
